Disliked: They said the booking came in late and they wanted to move me to a lesser hotel.

Somewhat disappointed
Liked: Liked location and comfort of bed
Disliked: Didn’t like that my lock on the door did not latch so didn’t feel safe. And in the morning housekeeping didn’t knock or acknowledge themselves when they came in to start cleaning. I had to yell that I was sleeping. Also the table in the room was not clean. It had dried food on it

Overall pretty good, but not...
Liked: Liked that the hotel itself seemed a little newer. We were given a handicapped room which was nice so we had a little more room. Our toilet clogged and the staff was on it to fix it.
Disliked: I did not love our check in process. I am not one to complain, but since there is a spot for feedback, I hope this is helpful.I was less than impressed with our first night and how we checked in. The check in employee was just kind of there. Not super friendly and pretty quiet. I am sure a nice guy overall, but not one to go out of their way to make you feel real welcome. He was just "there." When I picked up a pen from the cup of 10 of them, the pen had leaked so I had ink on my hand. I tried picking up another and started writing and realized ink was all of that one. He was standing right there as I was filling out the form and I was like, "Oh these are leaking." Lol... INothing was offered so I had to ask for something to wipe it off. This is what I mean with going out of your way with being part of customer service. So he handed me a Kleenex. Anyway, the check in was at 10:30 pm and we had just been at a basketball tournament all day. The elevator was out of order and we were on the 3rd floor. I guess it was only out for maybe an hour. But when I asked about the elevator being out once we brought everything in on the cart the front desk guy's response was, "Oh I guess it's out of order." Not that he maybe knew how long it would be, but it was just a lack luster answer. A mom with three kids having to haul everything upstairs 3 floors was less than ideal. But I told them just like in basketball, we will not complain and just get it done. Breakfast - pretty good. My only thing there is I am wondering if the staff can be notified before that the hotel will be pretty full bc this was a huge tournament and they were out of a lot of things. I kindly asked about refilling the oatmeal and they were great to look to make more. I guess the kitchen area wasn't super crowded, but the seating area was so people did have food, but there just were many things that were out.

Other than the mud stains...
Liked: Grateful I didn't have to smell Marijuana near my room like I've experienced at other hotels. Making my comfort level uneasy.
Disliked: My room carpet had mud stains spots that were noticable, plus it was on the bottom of couch, I notified staff at front desk so I wouldn't be blamed. No other offers to address this matter were offered.
