Staff were very polite and friendly.

Liked: The staff.
Disliked: Jacuzzi plug would not stay down. Remote control buttons for TV were too small and faded. Carpet around the Jacuzzi and the room smelled mildewy. Front desk person was very polite and wanted to refund money but it was booked online by calling main number and a 3rd party was involved so could not do anything. Never got a phone call like we were told we would be getting by someone higher then her.

It served its purpose, but...

Liked: Breakfast was good - lots of options!
Disliked: Room was not cleaned well. There was a used l dirty washcloth in the tub when the shower curtain was opened for the first time. Old food and drinks were also left in the fridge. No handicap reserved area to eat for our son in a wheelchair. A couple saw that we could not sit at the high top tables as the only option left, so they offered to move.

I overpaid for an average...

Liked: Breakfast here is actually better than the Hampton Inn.
Disliked: I've stayed in this hotel before; the only competition is the the Hampton Inn across the street and the price between two was comparable for that weekend. I paid an average of $200/night for a Fri/Sat stay. Ridiculous. The Holiday Inn is NOT a $200/night hotel. The window in the first room they assigned me was cracked and the was completely clouded so there was no view. It made the room feel dirty and cheap. I went back to the desk and they assigned me another room with same window issue. Finally, after a third trip to the desk, I got a room that had a window with clear glass. The desk staff knew there were rooms with the cloudy glass, but did know which ones. Why was I the one pointing that out? By that point, I felt ripped off. Also, my room had not been vacuumed (this was addressed after a request). The hallways were not vacuumed.

Disliked: Grossly overcharged due to hockey tournament. I was there for celebration of life for my husbands family.

Disliked: Breakfast attendant was unable to keep up with demand and seemed annoyed when people were asking for refills. Also, there were a couple yogurts in refrigerator past their expiration date. The windowsill in our room needed to be cleaned - lots of dead bugs.

Disliked: Price was high but due to present situation. People on social security find it costly. No discount for seniors.
