great except the $250.00 charge...

Disliked: Being charged for a lamp that staff said was missing from room after my stay. Being that it was a new room that no one had stayed in before the lamp was possibly never put in room. Who knows for sure but i did not take a lamp out of the room, furthermore since i was charged $250.00 dollars i we trying to avoid staying at Holiday Inn hotels in the future.

Liked: When I booked the room, I specifically booked for the indoor heated pool. I even called to make sure the pool was up and running. When we got to the hotel, they were under renovation. The pool and the workout room were closed, and there were renovations going on in the breakfast area. Our tub stopper was broken so we couldn't take a bath. The shower was great. I never received an email informing me of the renovations going on. Otherwise, I would have canceled and made reservations elsewhere, which I'm sure is why they didn't email. I didn't find out about anything until I got here, which was too late to cancel without being charged, so I had to pay for and stay in a hotel I was extremely upset with. This is the second time I've made reservations at this string of hotels and been sorely disappointed.

Liked: Inside pool and close to family
Disliked: Security about having my room number talked about so loudly when checking in. And keys given to a not yet checked in guest who’s wasn’t on the rooms. Having to asked to have rooms cleaned. No clean towels????
