Liked: Well located for our travel purpose. Front desk staff were very helpful and pleasant. Although I did not have the breakfast those travelling with me found it quite good.

Disliked: Worst experience ever i feel like am scammed by hotel i will never recommend this place to anyone hotel charged me 400 dollars for a night when i did a check in girl that was at reception took my credit card charged me 250 dollars 150 for stay and 100 dollars for damage deposit when i did check out i received a call from hotel that they need my credit information again so they again charged me 150 dollars when i check my bank account both of them shown posted on credit statements when i called reception there was a girl her name was lovepreet i even sent her screenshots of statement of credit card where it was clearly visible they charged me money she told me she is the manager started talking with me rudely i was like i feel scammed right now am feeling stressed because i made all this money by doing hardwork she was like we are not a bank u should talk to ur bank the thing is hotel charged me 250 dollars and she wants me to talk to bank she was just diverting my mind … the thing is i stayed all over world even mexico Europe never happened with me. Stayed at hyatt hotels marriot , deltas Never seen someone on reception soo unprofessional like this they didn’t give my damage deposit back nor my 150 dollars all together 250 dollars ….. worst experience of my life i will never recommend this place or any holiday inn express in the world now i will never trust holiday inn express .charging someone extra 250 dollars is really not good .

Liked: Location was good, at the top end of Vernon, the breakfast was satisfactory.
Disliked: We booked a dog friendly room, the carpet was stained, blood splatter on the walls, black mold in the bathroom and bathroom was cracked and leaked.

Liked: The staff were great, super friendly and the breakfast bar was superior to other hotels with complimentary breakfasts. The kitchen area was clean and the food was fresh and hot.
Disliked: The pool and the hot tub were disgusting. We stayed last April and found the same issue with the facilities but thought they would have been rectified. The hot tub was green and had a sludge/film around the edges and the swimming pool was freezing cold and white like milk. We spoke with another gentlemen staying there and he said he cleans and fills pools and hot tubs for a living and said he had mentioned to the staff they needed to be serviced. We also told the front desk they needed to close the hot tub and pool to guests until this happened but they did not close them. The staff did say they had called maintenance but they also said that when we had stayed 6 months prior.
