I checked in on 9/14 to room #201 and left on 9/15 - on my way back to Corpus I realized I had left clothes in the closet so I called the hotel. The Rep was very courteous and understanding but he didn't realize I had left. I did not know I had to call and check out. Quite confusing but he took care of my checkout. Excellent rating.

Disliked: Rooms were listed as non-smoking. The room had a strong smoke smell.

Disliked: The key didn't work, the phone didn't work, the refrigerator didn't work until we had to plug it in, no wash towels, no hand soap.

Terrible and unexpected for HIE

Liked: The person at the front desk was very helpful. Several of the rooms had a very strong mold smell he helped us find a room that didn’t smell that bad.
Disliked: The hallways were very dirty it looked as if they had not been vacuumed in days. We were given a room that smelled musky and moldy. It had stains on the privacy curtains and the toilet was leaking. We asked for another room and were given one on the 1st floor. The ceiling and walls were cracked and the restroom door had 2 holes that had been repaired. This room had an enjoining room that smelled moldy as well. We closed the door and placed a towel under the door. The extra room also had stained privacy curtains. The shower head was broken and was knotted up around the broken shower head holder. What we saw of the property was that it wasn’t being maintained properly.
