Great accommodations but really poor...

Liked: The staff were very friendly, the hotel itself was very nice. We had a room with two queen sized beds. It was spacious for our kids and us and very comfortable. The pool was nice, breakfast was great, coffee and tea always on hand in the front lobby. We were there during a storm and the floors in the lobby were kept pretty clean considering the amount of traffic and the horrible weather. Great location, right around the corner from Tim Hortons and the North Gate mall.
Disliked: I had to ask multiple times and tip people to have our room serviced and I'm not just talking about making beds. I'm talking about simply having towels replaced so our family could shower the next morning. Our garbage and recycling were also left overflowing. We stayed there 4 days and 3 nights and our room was serviced once for towels after us asking 3 times and finally stating we didn't have towels to shower and leaving a $10 tip. Once more when the garbage was too much to stare at and the tile floor to the entrance of the room was no longer bearable from the slush and everything tracked in from our boots and having to catch the lady who was on the floor and stating "can you PLEASE service our room, I have another tip, PLEASE." I have doubts about how often the pool is cleaned. Otherwise, nice place. Just really, exceptionally short staffed on room servicing. Basic servicing, which was really disappointing.
