Extremely disgusted and disappointed

Liked: The staff was somewhat attentive and cooperative.
Disliked: This stay was the worst experience. Coming into the room, it smelled of mold. Going into the bathroom, it appeared that it was not cleaned/sanitized throughly and structurally needed some work. Specifically the sink and bathtub. The sink had built up grime from around the sink to the handle. The bathtub looked about the same. While taking a shower, the drain was clogged. It was so bad that the water actually came above my ankles. The front desk gave us a separate room to shower in. There was a piece of gum stuck to the ceiling of our room, and the fridge did not work properly. Also, I wanted to note that the pool area had what appeared to be brown bubbles and drainage coming from the hottub. I'm extremely disappointed in the stay and expected better considering the price I paid.

Liked: The staff were friendly and helpful. Tamara, the front desk clerk did a great job. The staff member who was managing the breakfast area (my apologies for not remembering her name) also did a great job maintaining the area, making sure the food was consistently stocked and was very friendly.
Disliked: When I booked my room on Bookings.com I was quoted a price, but my initial bill was showing $12.00 more. I spoke to the front desk and they looked into it, but were unable to determine where the discrepancy was because Bookings.com did not provide a day-by-day breakdown. The hotel honored the price and addressed the issue, but it was mildly concerning that I could have potentially been overcharged if I was not vigilant.

Pleasant

Liked: This was a beautiful place, the rooms were clean, staff very nice.
Disliked: Our room was right above the party room. The first night the party ended at 10 like it was supposed to. The second night it didn't end until 12:30am. We needed to get up at 7 am. Otherwise the hotel is wonderful, we loved it, we would come to this place again.
