Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Medford-Central Point, Central Point

I was really disappointed. Best thing about our stay was the breakfast staff. My two grandsons and I came down about 10:30 so I could get a cup of coffee and even though they were cleaning up and done with breakfast, she offered us bagels or muffins. My grandsons got bagels and milk while I got coffee. Extremely pleasant and helpful woman. Apparently she was there when we checked in and knew about the mix up with our room felt bad about it.

Disliked: Coming off the freeway from the north at night, your sign is not very visible - took us a while to find the motel. It was between 8-9pm when we checked in with 3 small children and was given a room on the third floor. Had to find employee to help us, as the room number on the keycard envelope was occupied by an elderly couple. Keycards are great as long as they work, which ours did not half the time. Pool was the smallest I have seen at any hotel. Will book at Motel 8 next time - we found their motel really easily.

Disliked: If you arrive late there are tons of semi trucks parked all along the street making it difficult to get to the hotel. We were blocked for a good 5 minutes waiting for one to find somewhere to park for the night (blocking the entire road while doing it). Not the hotel’s fault, but we’ve stayed here multiple times and encountered this each time, since we usually get in around 11pm.

Great hotel, will definitely book...

Liked: Great location, decent breakfast, friendly staff. The beds were comfortable (but very firm) and the king suite was a great size for a family of 4.
Disliked: The only issues we had were relatively small. The shower door keep sticking making it hard to close or open, the toilet paper holder was loose so the TP kept falling off. And the toilet overflowed once. But the staff was quick to assist us.

A good place to stop...

Disliked: No bath soap toiletries.

Liked: Everything, we dont travel much and this is our first vacation. Our stay was great. Breakfast was yummy too! Staff were great and very helpful.
Disliked: Water from shower leaked into our halway once, but we used towels to prevent it.
