Hotel was spotless. Hospitality was wonderful, and the beds were very comfortable. Will definitely stay here again for next year's Renaissance Festival!

Liked: I did not like anything besides the pool hours. We left the same night so I have no review of breakfast.
Disliked: The ice machine was broken on the 3rd floor. There were stink bugs on the wall and live and dead flies in the window seal. The tub was dirty. The phone and the tv did not work. Not one channel showed. The man at the front desk did not appear to care at all. His response was “there’s nothing I can do, maintenance is not here”. It was uncomfortable and I left before midnight. I will not ever reserve another Holiday Inn again!

Liked: Staff was extremely nice and helpful! Very courteous and helped right away with getting me checked in. Nice breakfast too.
Disliked: The gap under the hotel doors from the hallway to my room seemed oddly large? Someone could easily use their phone to take video of you in your room through the 2 inch gap between the floor and the bottom of the door, which made me uncomfortable. It's a pretty quiet hotel so I don't think there was a huge risk of this happening, but I put my suitcases in front of the door just in case. Not sure if I've seen door gaps that large in a hotel before.

Miscommunication

Disliked: This rating is not against my stay at hotel as we were not able to keep the reservation. We booked our room through booking.com who said the hotel had rooms available. We reserved a room for the night and received a call about 20 minutes later stating that all the rooms were booked and they had to cancel my reservation. The availability at the hotel needs to be more consistent with the other outside websites offering rooms for the hotel so no one else runs into the same problem. We had to scramble to find another hotel as it was getting late.
