My stay was wonderful. The room was sparkling clean and the bed was so comfortable. I will stay with Holiday Inn Express again.

Good standard highway exit hotel.

Liked: Good middle class hotel in larger hospitality zone of Florence. 12 min drive from pretty Downtown Florence and 5 min from highway. Breakfast was fine (or at least what you can expect from American hotels…). Several resraurants in hospitality zone but recommend going Downtown instead.
Disliked: Mattress was too soft for our taste and we left with back ake.

Room was never cleaned. Poop...

Disliked: We left immediately after checking in. The room was obviously never cleaned- bed was made but messily, towels with brown stuff all over the bathroom floor, brown smudges in the tub and poop with toilet paper left in the toilet. Absolutely shocked and went downstairs to complain and they had no rooms left, so we were forced to continue driving through the night 8 more hours on no sleep since there were no rooms available anywhere else we looked. Front desk said that’s never happened before, but I’m wondering how that even happens in the first place. Save your money because they obviously don’t keep track of the cleaning of the rooms. I wish I took photos but it was after midnight at this point and we were upset and exhausted.
