Comfortable but noisy.

Liked: The room was nice and the staff was okay.
Disliked: You could hear everything everyone was doing all the time! Every time someone left their room, you heard it. The doors are heavy and sound like they slam closed every time. I could hear the people beside me and above me. The TV was also a pain to change the source. We brought a fire stick to watch Netflix and there was no way to change the source on the controller. You have to slightly tap the on button over.

Best Hotel in North Raleigh

Liked: The accommodations were excellent and the bedding was comfortable. The service was superior and the breakfast was very filling. We always stay at this hotel when we visit our parents in North Raleigh, NC & whom live a couple miles away at their home in Wakefield. This Holiday Inn is perfect in every way... Thank you!!!
Disliked: I am disabled and reserved a wheelchair accessible roll in shower. However the room had a tub with an edge I had to carefully maneuver. We didn't anticipate that but my husband helped me and we were able to overcome the hurdle.

Disliked: The elevator was not working we had to go up stairs there was mold it smelled bad the breakfast was was poor food also the key cards had gotten disactived from going in the room and to get in from the back down was unlocked it was supposed to be locked then the restroom door was not able to lock.

Liked: 1 friendly Hispanic woman who worked there cleaning showed us coffee when we realized we’d missed the food. She was very nice which we appreciated at that moment. That was only thing we liked.
Disliked: Elevator was not working. We’re older had hard time walking up to 3rd flr carrying luggage & controlling 2 dogs on leashes. Also ‘sign’ posted by staff was not even seen the first time because it was on small paper & letters & nothing STOOD OUT to get our attention to READ ME. At check in staff told us breakfast till 10am tomorrow. We came down 3 flights of steps w luggage & 2 dogs on leashes put all in car went back in at to eat at 942 am & doors were pulled close. Food gone. It is Fri & sign says M-F till 930am. Not 10am. Staff gave us wrong info & 2 of your customers left hungry. Carpet was very frayed in room; wall area around shower floor was broken. Not sure about every one using the same pump soap containers. I didn’t like sharing w everyone else. Location is hard to get to but that’s the area too.
