Rooms were very, very clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Shuttle to concert was a great service.

Unsupervised children

Liked: The only thing I liked were the 2 Staff in the morning. Bambi and Ms. Z
Disliked: Where do I start.... The 1st thing was that after we rested for awhile we decided to go and head to the pool. There about 10 children in the pool and only 2 parents sitting on their phones not watching the children. 2nd was that while we were in the pool they were screaming so loud, running around, getting in the hot tub while it had a cone with a small sign that said it was closed. The biggest thing that scared and really upset me that a 4-5 yr old with a floaty thing on got in the hot tub by himself. As there were 2 parents that were supposed to be watching them weren't saying anything. After I nicely told to get out of the hot tub he did but then went over to the handicap lift to sit and swing on it. 3rd was when we only lasted maybe 10 mins in the pool area bc it was not very relaxing to be in the pool with all the children not being very respectful. 4th is where I feel that these children their parents should have been thrown out of the hotel. They ran up and down the hallway up until 11pm. They were screaming, yelling, throwing candy around on the floor, making videos and a teenager walking out of her room with just a towel on. The evening staff did come up and walk the hallway. They were at it again running up and down the halls at 2am. 5th was on Sunday morning. While we sat and ate our breakfast the same group of children came in the breakfast bar area getting food for themselves soaking wet bc they just came in from the pool area. They were rude, getting the floor all wet and then proceeded to take their food to the pool area until Ms. V had them come back down and sit down to eat their food. And again NO parent or adult around for these children. We aren't from Dayton and we like to take little trips and we're all excited about your hotel having a pool and hot tub. This was not a very enjoyable experience or stay. The only thing that made us happy was the front desk lady Bambi and Ms. V!

Disappointed

Disliked: Pool water was very cold.. there were kids running up and down the hallway up until 1 am in the morning. Hot tub was not working...

Exceptional

I stayed one night and...

Liked: The staff was friendly
Disliked: It’s definitely outdated as well as uncomfortable. I ended up getting a king size room and the bed was an absolute nightmare, felt like I was sleeping on a rock, might as well just sleep on the floor. The tv was old as well as the room wasn’t really the nicest for the price. Only decent thing was the bathroom.

This hotel COULD be fantastic...

Liked: We liked they layout of the room. Also the breakfast was fantastic and the hostess was an absolute delight...she made the stay much better
Disliked: The room was run down and dirty.. although the bed linens were clean, one bed base was falling apart. The carpet was worn through where it met the hard floor by the bathroom. The tub was dirty as was the couch and there were (possibly bloody) finger prints on the living room lightshade. There was dirt build up between the desk and the wall. The hot tub was barely working and the pool area in general smelled of mildew.

We came down from Toledo...

Liked: Great stay very friendly staff the room was clean and comfortable. It was in a great location for the comedy show that we came to see. I had a great time. I would definitely stay there again. The bed was very comfortable and I always enjoy Holiday Inn quality breakfast was outstanding the girl, who was taking care of the breakfast was very thoughtful and a joy to be around would definitely recommend friends and family
