Clean and modern for a...

Liked: It was a great time. Clean and modern. Staff was friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay great.
Disliked: Only down fall was the pool was cold and the heater was not turned on. Was told that it only gets turned on in cooler months. This was the main reason we choose here but still enjoyed a fresh swim.

Great, but also not so...

Liked: The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The staff was prompt and courteous. The bed was clean and comfortable.
Disliked: The hotel (as a whole) looked rundown. You could tell that it had been "upgraded" in the past few years, but those years had not been kind to it. We had spackled mud and cracks in our shower ceiling, and the grout in the tiling was rusted and dark from use. There were stains in most of the carpets throughout the building, including in our couch in our room. All the doors in our room were weathered, splintered, and old. Though I will say all the other rooms had newer front doors (so maybe they were just getting to ours?).Additionally, I will say, while the hotel is conveniently located to the freeway - and Mammoth Cave only 20m away... Everywhere we wanted or needed to go aside from the attractions, like grocery and restaurants, was 25-40 min away by freeway. So conveinent, but not.

Liked: Room was great, perfect for a short stay. Gym was good too.
Disliked: Breakfast has poor options. Nothing healthy or Non GMO.

Liked: It was located within 20 minutes from wherever we we wanted to go
Disliked: The beds were uncomfortable and I think the beds were full instead of queen which is what I origanly requested.
