Liked: Car parking was difficult because a number of unused electric hook-ups meant shortage of space for "normal" vehicles.Nice room but smelled very musty - presumably because bathroom extractor did not seem to be working.

The pits

Liked: Comfortable beds.
Disliked: Laughable "continental" breakfast before 6am.Taps hardly yield water.Parking expensive. Dirty bed sheet.Noisy road.

Perfect for the night before...

Liked: We've stayed here a number of times before the train to Calais, and it is exactly what you would expect. A Holiday Inn Express that provides perfectly reasonable rooms with a good breakfast.
Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: It was ok apart from when I booked I received confirmation of free overnight parking - it wasn’t. Also booking confirmation said free hot packed breakfast if needed. It wasn’t hot and the only items you could take away were fruit and croissants. Ok but not what we thought we were getting. Previous visit was free parking and hot bacon cobs to take away

Not a family room

Liked: Reception staff friendly
Disliked: The sofa bed that was for 2 people. Was the size of a single bed. No way can two people sleep on that. It looked out onto a derelict car park. The room was dated apart from the shower. You sat at the end of the sofa bed and it went into a big hole. Only stayed 30 minutes and walked out. Booked at the premier inn ashford. Much better for money cleaner and comfortable. 3rd bed was a single and a camp bed. I could have complained but was so disgusted I wanted to just get out of there. Can’t comment on the food as didn’t stay long enough.

Perfect location for Le Shuttle

Liked: Great location, good breakfast and ideal stop over prior to our Le Shuttle journey.

Not good for travelling with...

Liked: The hotel was clean, staff were very friendly and the location was good but we travel with dogs and the price they charge per dog £30 is extortionate considering there are no areas for pets and no facilities what so ever for them, not even a small walking area.
Disliked: No facilities at all for pets despite being changed £60 for two dogs
