Great staff, clean rooms and...

Liked: The hotel was very clean and close to (no more than 5mins) the motorway junction which was perfect for us considering we were travelling further south the following day.
Disliked: The only thing that lets the family rooms down is the sofa bed. I think it is a company issue as all the sofa beds are extremely uncomfortable, in any holiday inn we have stayed in. The main bed is great and super comfortable.

Perfect for what we needed.

Liked: Very convenient location for the M5. Excellent choice for breakfast, the pancakes were very yummy. Microwave in the foyer for guests to use.
Disliked: Couldn't fault anything.

Liked: Had requested thin pillows well in advance while booking, only 1 out of 6 provided were thin. Room sound insulation was not great either, lots of crashing and banging of doors could be heard starting 6am.... Travelodge is much better in this regard.

Good location, great staff and...

Liked: Th room was clean and comfortable, well equipped and a good size. Breakfast was excellent, with a good selection of food, and all efficiently and quietly managed. I varied the times I went to breakfast and avoided the great rushes you get sometimes in this type,of hotel, with such a wide range of customer, families etc. Check in was fast and friendly, and arrangements were carefully explained. Staff were universally excellent, and the small maintenance issue I had was resolved very quickly to my complete satisfaction.
Disliked: It may have been my mistake but I was expecting the hotel to be closer to what I regard as the centre of Exeter (the cathedral). It was a little way out which forced a slight change in my plans. I think that I misread the blurb onlines. The location is actually very good for the Business Park, is quiet and thoughtfully designed, even if a little short of green spaces.
