Had a very enjoyable few...

Liked: The Holiday Inn, Leith, was in a good location and outside and inside were spotless clean and in a very quiet area. Rooms were very clean and never heard a sound from other guests passing in the corridors. Breakfast was superb and of great quality and quantity for everyone to help themselves.
Disliked: N/A

Comfy beds, nice sleep and...

Liked: The bed was comfy, we have trouble sleeping, but we had a great sleep both nights. Location was great for what our plans were. The hotel was clean and bright. Staff were really nice and very helpful.
Disliked: Breakfast wasn't particularly good. Food was lukewarm both mornings despite us going at different times. The scrambled egg tasted like it was made from powdered or reconstituted egg. The fruit juice was bland, insipid and not nice. The cereal was certainly not a good make! What a shame for those poor hash browns, they were horrible. Room was good, but no chair (there was a nice comfy sofa though) available.A wee tad peeved that we had to pay for parking for the two days (we did know this in advance). There was free parking nearby, but my husband is disabled and we wouldn't have managed the very short walk.
