Sleepless

Liked: We arrived in the early hours after a late flight. Shattered. Check in was easy. Room said large double. It was a double. Didn’t care too tired. Room was absolutely fine. Bathroom lovely. Got into bed which was ultra soft and rolled into middle. Tried to cling to edge but there was bits of metal inside mattress sticking out. The mattress was absolutely done. The pillows were lumpy. Such a let down. Only there for 6 hours just needed sleep but it was so uncomfortable such a waste of money. Reported to reception but they didn’t care and I can guarantee the room was cleaned and someone else would have to suffer the same experience. They’ve spent so much money on nice bathrooms and other bits yet a new mattress and pillows would ensure guests would return. A good sleep is everything.
