We would definitely stay here...

Liked: The room was clean, lovely, and had everything we needed. The breakfast was particularly excellent, and was different both mornings we were there. The location was perfect for walking to all the fun downtown shops and restaurants.
Disliked: The pool was small, and cold, and there was no hot tub.

Perfect location, lovely and comfortable...

Liked: The breakfast was excellent, we first had hot fresh coffee, and the eggs, sausage and cinnamon rolls were the best! Then we took a leisurely walk along the Animas river behind the hotel, it was so beautiful and quiet. We even saw men fishing there! We were close to downtown so we walked along the main road and enjoyed the shopping and various restaurants. It was such a delight to go back to our room afterwards, which was so spacious and so comfortable, we were so grateful with our whole experience at the Holiday Inn express in downtown Durango!
