Great location - close to venue, close to restaurants and things to do. Favorite place to stay now in Dallas.

I would not ever return to stay at the Hotel Lawrence, nor recommend this hotel to a friend.

Liked: Close to Palladium Ballroom.
Disliked: Ugly and small rooms; A/C doesn't work; not worth $100 a night. Charged us 1/2 day for "late-check out" claiming that they were completely booked the next day, which was evidently a lie. Poor customer service - the lady at the front desk had a poor attitude.

Way overpriced for what was offered.

Liked: Nostalgic feel was fun.
Disliked: Unfriendly, condescending staff; poor parking; poorly maintained; did not have my wine of choice at the bar; breakfast was cold.

Liked: The room was very small. The curtains on the window did not include blackout so the night lights were bright. The street noise was very loud and not something we anticipated.

Liked: Proximity to Union station. As we didn’t have a car we relied on the trains. Also very close to the main Dallas attractions. Comfortable bed. Large bathroom. Plenty of choice for breakfast.
Disliked: Small room with terrible lighting.
