Disliked: Staff was preoccupied with houskeeping tasks while I was trying to check in and check out. Room lacked a microwave. Price was WAY out of line.

Love the Holiday Inn Express in Charleston. It was close and didn't have to move my vehicle for anything. I go there for Basketball State tournaments. We'll stay there again, just hated that my vehicle was hit in the parking lot.

Liked: Very clean and close to the Charleston Civil Center
Disliked: My truck got hit in the parking lot and the person didn't leave their name,number or address they just drove off.

Overall enjoyed my stay and...

Disliked: Bathroom could have been cleaner. Found hair on towels, in the bathtub

Good hotel for a brief...

Liked: The hotel was fine--everything worked and the bed was comfortable enough. The staff was gracious and helpful. We had a good room with a view of the interstate.
Disliked: Our only complaint...a small one. It was our first time in Charleston and we spent a lot of time driving in circles (one way streets) trying to find a restaurant. A small map of the area would have helped.
