Holiday Inn Express Canandaigua - Finger Lakes, Canandaigua

Liked: Very clean.

Close to CMAC; it was really nice; definitely do it again.

Liked: Great. Free breakfast; friendly people; comfortable bed; nice bathroom.

The hotel room was a lot better then the two queen bed regular room we expected - it was a king with a pull out couch with two huge ass TVs - definitely a little more in price and couldn't use my priority points, but well worth it and so close to the CMAC. Well worth it!

Very poor

Disliked: we arrived at 4pm, an hour past check in and was told our room was not ready as they were having an issue with their “housekeepers” This was after I traveled alone with 4 kids for almost 5 hours. When we finallygot to the room the mirror had toothpaste splatter on it from the previous guests. The toilet stopped flushing and I had to lift the back to flush it. In the morning I had called for extra towels at 8:45 and was told to wait 15 minutes because again, housekeeping was not on duty yet (which i thought was ridiculous honestly). 2 hours passed and I still hadn’t gotten any towels. I walked to the front desk to ask for them, again, and the receptionist had a terrible attitude but was able to find 2 towels “in the back” for me. Maybe they were having a bad week, i don’t know.

Liked: The breakfast was very nice and I like the hours that it was available.

Crap happens but overall not...

Liked: I liked the pillows. I liked the bed. I liked the location.
Disliked: I didn't like the people above me stomping around. I didn't like Maintenance not being there. I didn't like having to plunge a toilet that was plugged by the previous person. The young lady at the desk was very nice and I understand she couldn't leave the counter, but she did let me use a plunger. It was plugged up pretty good and took me a few good times to get it cleared so I'm not sure she would have been able to clear it.
