Hotel was very nice, and would definitely return if visiting Birmingham again.

Liked: Staff were lovely; very clean and room was lovely.
Disliked: Breakfast was chaotic and ran out of things and had to wait a while to be refilled. We had a disabled room but my sister was still not able to get in the shower as she was not able to lift leg to get in bath and the bath was very slippery and needed a non slip mat.

Liked: The bed was very comfortable. The shower was exceptionally good. The breakfast was delicious and plenty choices.
Disliked: There was only one chair in the bedroom, two would have great.

Excellent service and value

Liked: The tiles at the entrance are in need of immediate repair to prevent trips and falls. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful with guests though when we checked in, a longer-term member of staff was talking unkindly to what seemed to be a member of staff in training. She was belittled about having been shown something previously and being unable to complete the task unaided and it wasn't nice. The bed was comfy. The pillows were awful. The hotel was clean. The carpet was vacuumed but could do with a shampoo. The shower was excellent. The breakfast was fantastic. The location was ideal for restaurants, Villa park & other attractions but was out of the way enough to be quiet.

Great Location if you are...

Liked: Initially when we arrived our rooms were not quite ready and also we had requested one twin room and one double and we were given two doubles. The Staff were really accommodating and liaised with the House Keeping and managed to swap the room. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We had an early start the next morning and breakfast was available from 7am which was perfect. We only had a continental breakfast but it was really nice and the pastries were very fresh.
Disliked: Only that we could not get any food at the hotel when we returned Saturday evening. We had to order a takeaway.
