Good location - use local cab firm from station, not black cabs! Good location and friendly staff.

Liked: The room was nice, so no complaints.
Disliked: Poor selection of food, Scrambled egg was horrid; for a chain, the size options were poor and quality poorer.

Basically will never stay at such a poor 'what can be best described as a glorified Travelodge' again. Poor staff with bad attitudes - felt as though we were an inconvenience to the staff. Room was very basic; beds uncomfortable. Breakfast very, very poor - very substandard for a room we paid £165 for the night! Tables dirty, food selection very poor and quality of food cheap utter crap.

Lovely hotel would definitely stay...

Liked: It was near the NEC and had a good social area & restaurant. The staff were very friendly and the room was clean & comfortable.
Disliked: I felt that security could have been better. Assess to rooms was so easy and no security checks made.

Good one night stay

Liked: Room was bigger than we expected and the heating worked very well. Beds were big and the bathroom had some good amount of toiletries (all dove!). Staff were very nice and understanding and made the check in smooth. The restaurant had a lovely view of some squirrels running around. We liked that we had a hot breakfast included and that the bar staff was really helpful to us in the evening.Overall it was OK.
Disliked: Unfortunately, the first thing I noticed when entering the hotel was someone smoking right by the entrance next to a sign saying 'no smoking' - it wasn't a nice first impression to be greeted by the smoke.Breakfast lacked any cheese or ham and only had eggs scrambled. Tea wise there was only peppermint, no fruit or other herbal options if you didn't like black tea.Hotel booked us a taxi that was estimated at 10-12 pounds, but the taxi driver asked for 16 pounds even though the hotel was considered close to the airport and it was rather disappointing. There was no toilet brush.

Very convenient and good value

Liked: Easy to book , clean spacious reception. Nice bar/ cafe area . Lovely buffet breakfast & evening meal . Convenient reasonable parking and rates. Choice of pillows is great too
Disliked: Rooms are quite small but adequate . Bathrooms ok but water pressure is low . Carpets looked dirty. And no sockets /charging points at one side of the bed in twin not great.
