Good location - use local cab firm from station, not black cabs! Good location and friendly staff.

Liked: The room was nice, so no complaints.
Disliked: Poor selection of food, Scrambled egg was horrid; for a chain, the size options were poor and quality poorer.

Basically will never stay at such a poor 'what can be best described as a glorified Travelodge' again. Poor staff with bad attitudes - felt as though we were an inconvenience to the staff. Room was very basic; beds uncomfortable. Breakfast very, very poor - very substandard for a room we paid £165 for the night! Tables dirty, food selection very poor and quality of food cheap utter crap.

Liked: Location in proximity to NEC. not a bad walk distance wise.
Disliked: Air con made a constant clicking noise and was not able to turn it off. Happened in the middle of the night so unable to really report it! The food was really poor for dinner but good for breakfast although they had ran out of soya milk and didn’t have anymore.

Liked: On arrival the gentleman was pleasant but he spoke too fast I had to keep asking what he said. The room we were allocated was already occupied so we had to return to the desk.
Disliked: We couldn't adjust the temperature in our room and it was quite chilly, the shower was great but everything was got soaking wet as it was a wet room, the extraction didn't work, the body wash they provide was watered down, the breakfast was basic, tasteless and cold. All the sockets are on the opposite walls.

Disliked: No hairdryer.Parking @ £12 per night. We arrived at 11.30pm and left at 06.50 the next morning. £12 for less than 8 hours parking is rather expensive.

Liked: Good location for the NEC
Disliked: Bed was small. Car park cost, whatever you pay for the room add £24. It says £12 per 24 hours but if you arrive one day and leave in the morning it's £24.

Liked: The rooms were large and comfortable beds the bathroom was spotless.
Disliked: Not a very good selection at breakfast

Budget hotel

Liked: Walking distance to where I was working
Disliked: Fire alarm went off at 1am. Sounded 3 times. Evacuated to find out it was a false alarm.Soap and bodywash bottles were empty. Left next to the sink for housekeeping to fill. Housekeeping put the bottles back in their holders unfilled.Upon departure I received a partial invoice. Full invoice couldn’t be provided as new system was brought in half way through my stay. Promised I would receive invoice by the end of the day. Not received. Called customer support line who contacted hotel on my behalf. Told I would receive an invoice within 48 hours. Hopefully I will.
