Excellently located for a good...

Liked: Best located hotel for the price! Walking distance from the most interesting things in the city: Checkpoint Charlie, Potsdamer Platz (Christmas Market), Unter den Linded blvd., Brandenburg gate etc.We had a concert at Tempodrom and wow, it was so nice to get a 1h sleep before it, then get out of the hotel 30 minutes before the concert start, arrive there within 5 minutes, then back from the concert late at night again in 5 minutes. Excellent location!The beds were very good, the pillows as well, there was enough space, the bathroom was good enough, everything was as you would expect from Holiday Inn.Breakfast was just fine, a bit lacking actually but not a big problem.
Disliked: Breakfast was missing the sausages & the omlettes. Only cold food and the eggs were only boiled. A bit unusual from a hotel in Germany, but it had everything else you'd need for breakfast so still ok.

Cozy place and helpful staff.

Liked: Receptionists were really helpful. At the reception there is a small market you can get most of the things. Breakfast is nice but not hot dishes like omlette. You can drink coffee and tea. But pretzel and croissants are delicious.
Disliked: One of the elevator was not working that’s why I have to wait for the other elevator.

Liked: Memmet the friendly hospitible Front Desk staff.The breakfast spread was good especially when it was included in the hotel rate.Comfortable firm mattress and bedding. Ample hot water available along with thr shampoo and body wash.Short distance to the Metro line and if need be 25 min walk to Brandenburg Gate or Checkpoint Charlie.Plenty of grocery stores nearby with good restaurants around.
Disliked: Tv channel selection- did not have a movie channel option.The AC was not working and though it was not needed in November, personally I prefer a colder room at nite hence mention of AC. It may be an issue if the stay was in Spring or Summer.Shower water pressure could be a little higher while the shower head needs adjusting so that it is positioned more efficiently to be more effective. There was no hair conditioner available just the hair shampoo and body wash.The above items noted are minor but can be easily amended to enhance one's stay.

Liked: Breakfast was fresh and plenty, only 5 minutes walk from public transport. Clean and welcoming lobby
Disliked: The first thing I didn't like was that I had to pay when I thought that the room was already paid for, got me so mad and to make it even worst they got me a room for disabled guests, the room feel like a hospital room just hate it, paying almost $400 for such a crapy smelling room was unacceptable I tried to complain about the room, but the were not help and just said that the hotel was all book up. At the end The guy who did my check in gave me two free drinks from the bar for the inconvenience, but I didn't use the. Secondly getting in contact with booking.com customer service is useless, messaged them on the issue never bather to answer back. Horrible experience that have never happened with expidia, very disjointed still
