Great spot if you're visiting...

Liked: This property is currently being renovated so it is very clean and feels new. And if you're looking for a hotel walking distance to downtown for the nightlife this is a great spot. If you're visiting Augusta with kids, there are probably better locations not across from shady hotels, night clubs and liquor stores.
Disliked: The hotel is being renovated so it was a bit chaotic with random areas being worked on. Our room, while fresh and newly redone, had an old, dank smokers smell to it each time we returned from being gone. There is no carpet any longer and only tile floors. Breakfast was leaving something to be desired as there wasn't much out when we arrived shortly after it started. Beds were hard. This could be a great location, it just wasn't for us.

Disliked: I booked my room several weeks in advance for two queen beds for one night. The clerk stated they had over booked and only had a one bed (king) room. I feel like I was not treated fairly when I was proactive and booking my room in advance. Therefore my guests and I had to sleep uncomfortably in one bed when I paid for two bed room.
