First and foremost we were coming from Boston to NY and drove about 3 hours. When we called around 10AM to see if we could get an early check in we were advised that they were booked last night and couldn't accommodate. When we asked if when we got there we were able to see if we could check in early the receptionist advised that early check in would be a $75 fee which we have never heard of. Once we arrived to the hotel around 12:30 we were met with another unpleasant interaction with the front desk staff just flat out telling us we couldn't check in until 3. It was the lack of empathy or customer service that made this an unpleasant interaction. This information was provided in a 'oh well, too bad' manner. We drove around Queens for 3 hours and was finally able to check in. Later that night we were having trouble with the Chromecast feature on the TV and called the front desk to see if there was anything they could do. We were also met with an unpleasant interaction with the front desk saying it doesn't work and has nothing to do with them. We were advised to watch something on TV ( mind you they have the worst channels so there was absolutely nothing to watch) or we could buy a movie. We went to bed. The guy who checked us out was the most pleasant part of our stay. I will never stay here again.

Liked: It was clean.
Disliked: Rude front desk staff; nothing on TV and Chromecast didn't work.

A bit far but very...

Liked: A lovely hotel situated a bit far from downtown. The train station is about 12.mins walk and then almost an hour ride takes you downtown. Room is equipped with a king size double bed, an office table & chairs, coffee machine, microwave, mini fridge, a 2 doors wardrobe, iron and board etc. The bathroom has a spacious shower tray and toiletries. Breakfast spread was good. Gets a bit crowded if all guests come down at the same time. I couldn't find place on the first day but the 2nd and 3rd day was ok.There is also a very nice gym and a paid self laundry room.If not for the location, I would rate this hotel a 10.

Liked: The front desk attendant was very nice and helpful.
Disliked: The location is a little hard to get to and they charge $40 to park your car in the garage which is very small and first come first serve which is ridiculous because you won't be able to find parking on the streets. There is about 15 parking spots and some are right behind each other and you wouldn't be able to get out if someone parked behind you. We had a small SUV but a large SUV or truck would never fit.
