STAY AWAY DURING RECONSTRUCTION!!!

Liked: Location was great. Close to downtown St Augustine and lots of places to shop and eat close by.
Disliked: THE HOTEL IS UNDER RECONSTRUCTION!!!! DUST AND CEMENT SOOT EVERYWHERE EVEN IN THE FOOD AREA. IT IS JUST NOT RIGHT TO PUT PAYING CUSTOMERS THROUGH THIS. Everywhere is dirty and unsafe because of the renovations. Also, lots of dodgy looking construction workers at all hours of the day. BUYER BEWARE!!!! August and September 2024.

Liked: The entire staff was totally AWESOME and accommodating..
Disliked: Wasn’t told the hotel was under renovation.. Was extremely disappointed..Parking was terrible due to the numerous large containers placed on parking space..My first night the person that was staying next door was loud and partying until 3:00 AM

Chain of bad events from...

Liked: The room they gave us, the shower only had scolding hot water. The next day we changed rooms and that room smelled so bad. It smelled like BO and cigarettes and was absolutely disgusting. The front desk switched us again. The last room, seemed ok, the ac wasn't very cold but np big deal. After first night we asked the front desk to have housekeeping service the room. We came back that evening and nothing was serviced. We had to go downstairs to get towels and washcloths. The next night, we had some bagels sitting on the fridge table area. They were tied in their bag and sealed closed. We woke up to thousands of tiny ants swarmed all over it. We were glad it was time to check out.
Disliked: Shower, lack of service, bug problem
