Wonderful hotel with exceptional hotel...

Liked: Clean. Staff and front desk were exceptional. Breakfast was excellent. Room was spacious.
Disliked: Nothing really.

Glad we only stayed for...

Liked: The bedding was very comfortable
Disliked: Very dark room, especially sofa bed area. Broken door leading to parking lot, card key didn’t work. Old and dated decor. Extra stairs right after entering hotel entrance were bothersome. No dining table in room, only a desk and a coffee table for the family room. Staff rejected request for late checkout without checking availability in the system. Wallpaper peeling, sink faucet spigot loose and should be tightened.

Could have been so much...

Liked: The room was very spacious, but the windows are screwed shut so you can’t open them for a little fresh air. And when there’s a pullout couch usually there’s bedding in the closet for it, but the front desk gave me some so no complaint just a suggestion. Our room was right by the back door to the parking lot so that was extra convenient.
Disliked: Well when I checked in I had let them know I needed to pay with a different card than what was on file. She said ok that’s fine we can get that info in the morning when you check out, I just need a card on file for incidentals. I understood as I have worked the front desk before. Well they put the room charge through to the card on file throwing my account in the negative. I had the money for the room in a different account, and tried giving that info right then so there was no issues later on. But was assured I could give it to them in the morning at checkout because that’s when I’d be charged anyway. And as for Breakfast I understand there’s a start and end time I do, but when my kids got down there right at 10 the cook pretty much shit the door on them and rushed them out along with taking the hot foods before they could get any. What’s the point in that? Are you in that much of a hurry you can’t give them 5 minutes to gather some food. You are only there for what 5 hours at most and your gonna just throw the food away or maybe you save it for the following morning in which I hope you don’t do, but next time be a little more patient and let them get a plate of food. And the shower curtains are way too damn short it doesn’t stay inside the tub so when you get out the mat is soaked and there’s a puddle of water. I’ve never left a review like this, but this made me wanna spend more next time to get a little more respect from staff and not feel like we are an inconvenience to them when we are the guests and the reason they have a job.
