Excellent stay. Nice large, clean...
Liked: Property was very clean. The linens and pillows were super comfy. Large room with a very cold ( so unusual ) fridge, a coffee maker and microwave. There was every possible convenience. Front desk was very welcoming and helpful.
Disliked: Nothing

Our reason for this booking...
Liked: The hotel is fairly new, I really liked how convenient it is for anyone to walk right next door to Publix or Starbucks.
Disliked: Our reason for this booking was due to hurricane milton. My family and I evacuated since our zone was prone to flooding. Upon arrival, the young lady who helped me check in was nice. Later on when I went up to my room, I realized that I was given a room with only one bed when I had paid for a room with two queen beds. I spoke to the manager later on, and she said she wouldn’t honor this because I paid for a standard room. If that would’ve been true than online it would’ve shown a different price. She lacked any compassion of empathy when I explained that the whole reason I had booked a room with two beds was so my mom could be comfortable. She has a lot of health problems at the moment and I didn’t want her feeling guilty that she was the one to sleep on the bed. I knew the hotel was completely booked due to the hurricane so I asked if at some point a guest checked out the following morning I could change. She gave me a blank stare and said she wasn’t going to honor that and if I wanted to change rooms I’d have to pay additional costs besides what I had already paid. I know it can be done without having to pay anything because I’ve done it at my place of employment multiple times. The manager looked miserable, she clearly didn’t want to be there. It’s sad, you’d think that a hotel chain like this would hire staff who are professional. I’ve worked in hospitality for years and not once have I ever treated a guest the way she did. I’ve worked my way up the chain and have been recognized for my ability to understand and serve the guest and make sure their stay is comfortable and enjoyable. Now, the room wasn’t clean at all, the bed had hairs on it. The bathroom had ruined on the toilet and there was toothpaste stains on the mirror. Honestly, I’m disappointed with my stay. I’m just glad I had a place to stay during the hurricane unlike some folks who had to unfortunately hunker down at home.
