Good hotel; clean and comfortable. Great bed and shower, both really important to me. Staff were friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast was good and extensive with eggs cooked to order if requested. I would certainly go back and can strongly recommend it.
Liked: Room and the staff.
Disliked: Bar staff untrained.

Mini fridge was handy with chocolate bars and bottled water. Beautiful view from room, garden view executive room.Bonus shaving sets room service pillow service Restraunt service to bedroom was good however £5 delivery for it to be walked to your room.Dressing gowns available on beds to.
Disliked: Advertised as a indoor and outdoor play area for kids however there is none!Board games and books available in lounge area however these are all mismatched and we could only use one game.Wasn't keen on cooked breakfast not very tasteful or appetising to look at (no Scottish breakfast) however the continental selection was satisfactory alot of choice.

A convenient, pleasant stay. Evening...
Liked: The location was in easy reach of town, surrounding parkland lovely. Parking was easy close to the hotel. The executive room was large with a comfortable bed, sofa and furniture. The bathroom had a bath an d separate shower. All areas were very clean and well maintained. Wasn’t too hot and the temperature could be adjusted. Dark curtains, lights all working. Lift worked well. Breakfast was very good, great selection of items and self service.
Disliked: We’d paid for half board which was initially questioned. We had to insist both nights dinner was included. Then there was a limited basic food offering. A fair few options were not available on the Sunday evening, including the steak and chocolate brownies. Fair enough, they may have had a busy Sunday serving. However they were also not available on the Monday evening. Both nights the soup of the day was a very watery lentil. Also we weren’t given the option of sitting in the dining room and ended up in the bar which is where dog owners can dine. I’m not keen on sitting eating with dogs watching.
