A good hotel with friendly...

Liked: Room was upgraded for us to a larger double. It was very clean and fresh, spacious and comfortable. Bed was very comfortable thanks to the topper and appreciate the choice of hard or soft pillows. Good night's sleep.Bathroom was a good size and although I'm no fan of showers over the bath, this was a good shower.
Disliked: Breakfast could and should have been better. We've eaten breakfast in several different Holiday Inns and it is always similar in style and type. However this was the most disappointing. The bacon and mushrooms were tasteless, the scrambled egg was floating in unpleasant yellowish liquid and the grilled tomatoes were dried out on top while the rest was uncooked.
