Beautiful hotel with lovely staff...

Liked: Accessible room was amazing. Very easy access for those that needed it. Breakfast was amazing, along with the food each evening. The bedrooms are spacious, clean and well maintained, Would definitely return here.
Disliked: The heating in the accessible room was not working, and there was a little trouble with the shower.

Liked: We did not have a breakfast as we were not at all clear about what was on offer and whether we could have a light breakfast rather than a full English. Due to that lack of clarity, we skipped breakfast.
Disliked: The entrance to our premier room in the separate building was very tatty and the carpet was very dirty. Quite shocked when we saw this as the rest of the hotel was very well presented.A major issue for us though was the fact that the outer doors to the premier rooms building did not appear to lock properly and anyone could access the building. We did not feel at all safe due to this. When we left the building to go to the main building in the evening, someone was standing in the corner smoking and it made us jump in the half light. Due to the smoking, our room smelt of smoke. Other than all that, we would stay at the hotel again but not in that building unless the outer door locked correctly. The hotel needs to sort this out as a matter of urgency.
