Good location, not so good...
Liked: Location wise, perfect.Laundry machine become handy for long trip.
Disliked: Housekeeping didnt clean your room, they just tiding up. Sometimes they not even bother to wipe desk and vacuuming. Front desk staff not even offering help to carry our luggage. We need to borrow luggage trolly and bring our own.

Unhelpful staff caused great distress...
Liked: Location is great and had hoped that it would’ve been equivalent to the experiences before the rebrand in mid-2024
Disliked: Had searched for options (and booked) for family of two adults and a nine year old child. Was allocated a room that had double-bed and no single. Staff were unhelpful and would only provide a roll-away bed for an additional $35. Had this been known beforehand, other properties would’ve been selected and been better value.

Nice location, comfortable room, horrible...
Liked: Localization, next to Chinatown and Darling Harbour.Staff: friendly and helpful
Disliked: Breakfast: it is unacceptable to have such small restaurant for so many guests. Sometimes, the line for breakfast was over 20 people waiting.Moreover, for such a price, the breakfast selection was not up to standard

Would not stay again, rude...
Liked: Pretty good location.
Disliked: Our room was not correct when we arrived. We asked for twin and entered a room with 3 beds, one without pillows. We had to wait for the room to be fixed with no apology. The customer service person who came to take over the discussion was rude, was not in uniform, didn’t introduce himself as a manager, didn’t apologise or offer anything for our inconvenience. The room needed vacuuming after beds were moved. The bathroom had some mould in the grout. There was no view, could hardly see the sky. The lift foyer was constantly full of dirty linen and cleaning stuff. We had to ask for tea bags to be replaced. They didn’t even provide tea spoons for tea/coffee, there was a wooden stick and these were not replaced. Overall we felt like we had been out in the worst room in the hotel, it was small and pokey.

Location and value for money...
Liked: Excellent location!Very clean room which was huge!Loved the wonderful customer service on check in. Would highly recommend Hotel.Fantastic value for money.Walking distance to Darling harbour and so close to Paddy's market.Awesome food there near by.Very happy with stay

Pleasant
Liked: Good spot. Close to many shops and restaurants
Disliked: The bathroom smells like cigarettes after cleaning. 3 people stayed in a single room and only 1 single worn out towel was given to us after cleaning on day 2. Liquid soap was empty and wasn't filled until I called and asked to be refilled.

Good location, cleaning requires attention
Liked: The location is fantastic. Only 5 minutes walk to Darling Harbour and the main CBD streets, therefore plenty of dining options and things to do.Also, it is worth noting how good their buffet breakfasts are: they aren't the same day to day, a lot of food options and really well cooked. This is definitely the highlight of our 8 nights' stay
Disliked: We had a lot of questions to the staff and the cleaning team.- there is some real misunderstanding. Quite often people knock at the door to make sure that the cleaning had happened, that was quite annoying- the hotel requests to put the "clean me" sign if guests want their room cleaned. A couple of times that did not help, the signed was fully ignored, and the reception just gave us clean towels at 9pm- once, the dispenser with soap was empty, I requested the reception to notify the team to refill, and coming back in the evening we found 2 big bottles with soap and shampoo on the shelf :-) (see the photo)- we were also unsure about what housekeeping team were doing. The beds were made and garbage bins emptied, but take a look at the pictures. After check-in we were surprised with the "cleanliness" of the toilet, there was hair on the carpet and in the bathroom, lipstick on the cups. Someone came along and vacuumed the carpet. Over 8 nights we stayed, seems like not much was done. The bathtub had someone else's hair, there was hair and other garbage on the floor and no one was removing it.
