Hotel is a bit older...

Liked: Stay was fine no breakfast though.
Disliked: No breakfast

The two things not working...

Liked: location; excellent shower for my handicapped husband
Disliked: Upon arrival; it was stuffy in our room; the AC/Heat unit wasn't working. Went to the front desk; my husband was napping. They sent maintenance over with a whole new unit which took about 30 minutes to disassemble the non working unit; then replacing it. Then he took out the new one again; there was alot of noise and moving of a large unit. My husband was trying to sleep through it....he said something about the mother board just needed to be reprogrammed; but he'd just replace it....not sure why he put it in and moved it onto a luggage cart twice. It worked, but my husband got no sleep after a long day. We decided to watch a movie and the remote didn't work. I was already in sleep clothes and decided to just bag it and went to sleep. So two things not working should have been caught before we arrived!

Great pool and breakfast

Liked: Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast (pre-booked) was great. Expensive to add once you are there, but price was good when booked directly with reservation. Washer and dryer available. Pool was heated.

Nice hotel near downtown Cody

Liked: The location is very good and a short walk to restaurants and shopping. We chose to drive to the Cody Center as it was a longer walk than we wanted. Hotel is very clean. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel as there were bus groups both mornings we were there and felt it would be crowded. Clean hotel and rooms are refreshed daily unlike most other places we stayed on this road trip to SD and WY. Liked that there were three entrances along the hotel parking lot so we could park near the entrance closest to our room.
Disliked: The hotels in Cody are just overpriced because they can get what is asked. It is what it is but I would never have paid so much for a Holiday Inn elsewhere.

Ok but probably wouldn’t stay...

Liked: Location and walkable to town
Disliked: Expensive and bed was uncomfortable
