Awful stay

Disliked: We stayed with my 9 year old twin girls as they had a gymnastics competition near by. We sat down for food about 7pm. Just as we sat down a coach full of people arrived, most of them got served before us although we had been sat down waiting for a while. We waited almost 2 hours for our food, my kids were absolutely starving as it was 9pm by the time we started eating. The food was awful after waiting for so long. My pizza was raw underneath, my mother asked for the veggie burger, it wasn't what was stated on the menu. It was supposed to come with no cheese, not real bacon, and coleslaw. It came with no coleslaw, a big pile of clumpy unmelted cheese on the burger and a tomato! My children couldn't eat their sausage and mash as it was cold and chewy. We were very disappointed overall as we had been looking forward to a night away with good food. I felt sorry for the poor staff as they were very understaffed, and the restaurant was heaving with people off the coach. For what we paid we did not have a pleasant stay at all. Very disappointed

Liked: Tara on the desk was very friendly and welcoming, Room was very clean! loved to hand soap and shampoo and conditioner that was free in the room. We will be staying again.
Disliked: Maybe more towels,

Disappointing

Liked: Good location and staff very friendly. Breakfast was pleasant enough.
Disliked: Room stank and clearly only clean what they can see. If you have problems walking, you may want to request an accessible room. Very outdated. Pool area also needs a revamp. Sofa bed for a toddler, not ideal (lots of gaps and springs) Not worth the £140 a night.
