Liked: Really lovely short stay - just what we needed for our weekend visit to Essex. Nice to be able to go for a swim in the morning too. Friendly staff, room really clean. Can't fault it.

Everything great except the booking...

Liked: we booked half board, then when we arrived they told us we didn't. I showed the proof and after 40 mins of standing in reception arguing explaining and the staff going to se the chef they decided we got £28 each adult for dinner. When we had dinner we had exactly the same experience AGAIN trying to explain. Then in the morning they said we owed for dinner and we had the same discussion AGAIN! Not good enough it shouldn't be down to the guest to keep explaining an issue which is clearly a fault your side. Such a stress and waste of time.
Disliked: The internal system for booking and that you have to pay for the car park. This should be taken off your booking if you are a guest. Not good enough.
