Good hotel to stay when visiting Boone, NC.

Liked: I liked that it was close to my parents home and accessible.
Disliked: We stayed here during the first two nights of hurricane that destroyed much of Watauga County. It’s understandable that they did not always have water, the TV did not work, and no Internet. It is Known that most of the hotels in Boone significantly increase their prices on big event weekends. But to price gouge and make people evicted from their homes by flooding pay $400 per night is criminal!

Payed for a room but...

Disliked: I booked through booking .com and payed for the room, but when I made it to the hotel it was overbooked. I did not have a room . I had to sleep in my truck because I couldn’t find a hotel that had any rooms . I did not have a good experience.

Liked: The hotel was nice, the staff was very hopeful. It was the checking out that was the problem, so please check your bill and card before leaving
Disliked: When I checked, they were supposed to charge my card 100.00 incidental fee. They charged me 537.97 again after I paid in full to booking.comCalled and talked to Samantha. She promised it was straighten out. Called my bank still pendingCall her back today. Front said she had goneShe also promised to send me an email stating that everything was good on my end never received it. Called my bank Wells Fargo and sent them the email confirmation from Booking.com They will handle it from here.
