Ok for one night

Liked: The location is very good to explore by foot. The British Museum is close by and if comfortable walking Shaftesbury Avenue and Leicester Square all easily reachable and safe routes. The Tube station is also only a few minutes walk from The Hotel front door. Good selection at breakfast and plenty of it.
Disliked: Unfortunately the room wasn't what we booked but it was satisfactory for our needs for a one night stay, I wouldn't have wanted to stay for more than 1 or 2 nights max here. Road noise was a disturbance but as expected for London. The hotel is currently under refurbishment so expect disruption during this time.Because of this I don't feel it is currently worth the tariff they charge , quite high for one night. The evening reception staff unfortunately not as helpful but could have just been one of those days we all have them. We asked for tea bags/milk for the room more than once and sadly was still waiting when we checked out.

Good location, ok cost wise,...

Liked: Location, pretty good for us to get toWhere we wanted to be, walked everywhere. Nothing particularly fancy but was good enough for what we needed.
Disliked: Bedroom was a bit out dated could do with some modernising & same with the bathroom but all worked so no real complaints

Afterall we enjoyed our staying...

Disliked: very very small bathroom

Liked: the breakfast was nice, we went down quite early and it was nice and quiet
Disliked: The beds were terrible, uncomfortable and hard, we didn't have enough towels to have one each so had to ask for more.

Liked: Approximately to the event we were attending.
Disliked: The cost of parking, terrible presentation of the reception area. One of the TV's hanging wonky in the reception area. Also, the door opening system not working properly after 11pm. Faulty coffee machine in the room. The TV has just been dumped on the unit with the chair located directly in front of it. Why is the TV not on the wall?No attention to details is the first impression.
