Disliked: Bed was so uncomfortable, not that clean. Would never return.

Loved every minute!

Liked: The hosts were very welcoming and very knowledgeable about the property itself and the area, as well as the available restaurants and things to do. We walked everywhere! The location couldn't be beat! We were just a touch off the beaten path, so it was a little quieter than if we had been on the main thoroughfare, but everything we needed and wanted was well within reach! We had a small fridge and access to water and ice. The hosts couldn't have been more accomodating. The parking was on site
Disliked: I think I was expecting a little more breakfast, but it was absolutely fine - small muffins, pastries, fruit, yogurt. And I would add non-slip pads under the throw rugs in the bedrooms.

Great stay in a brilliant...

Liked: Location was great and Donna was very hospitable and shared lots of knowledge about Newport what to do and where to eat. Separate apartment from the house was great .Donna provided fresh towels every day which was a lovely surprise.
Disliked: Surprised by stale smell of apartment and several long hairs on blankets on the bed. We did arrive early so there may not have been time to air the flat.

Would highly recommend it, although...

Liked: Lovely old building, close to where we needed to go for events, meals.

Liked: The breakfast was very adequate for us! The Owners Richard & Donna are the nicest & kindest people, meeting you every morning wondering how your previous day went. They were very knowledgeable about Newport and the surrounding areas to help you plan your days. It’s ALL you want with a B&B!

Comfortably away from home.

Liked: This hospitality extended by Donna and Frank made our visit exceptional. Our room was comfortable, beautifully decorated to have a historic feel while modernized to provide the comforts of being away from home. The location is perfect for walking into town. This was my first time staying at a bed and breakfast, and even my teenager agreed, we will definitely be returning.
