Liked: The location cannot be beat. It’s off the beaten path enough to not be rowdy but close enough to walk to all the lovely docks and shopping areas of Newport. Off street parking was also a deciding factor for us.
Disliked: There’s wasn’t anything not to like!

Exceptional

Liked: The property was quaint and perfectly located. Felt like I was staying at my grandmas house. It’s old and the beds are small but location was good and it was well priced.
Disliked: There’s nothing we didn’t like per se, but definitely an old grandma vibe with little trinkets everywhere so just know what you’re going into.

Great location, room and price.

Liked: The location of the Inn is excellent; three blocks and you are in the mix of shops, restaurants and the waterfront. The room was large, the bed firm (perhaps too firm), the water hot and the shower large.
Disliked: The water pressure for the cold water was very low. The hot was not bad and made the shower good. The chairs in the room were too soft. I realize it is an old home and the walls are thin, but someone next to us turned their TV on loud at 2 am and it was terrible. The portions of the continental breakfast could have been larger.

Liked: Close proximity to main street. Great breakfast included. Really helpful and lovely couple who own it. Would recommend

Charming, 1800's old style inn...

Liked: Everything you would expect from a grand old bldg. in a prime Newport location. No frills, but plenty of charm, peace and quiet.Donna and Richard. kind, gracious and accommodating hosts.
Disliked: All good ! Would not change a thing !
