Cheap and not worth it.

Liked: The staff was friendly and the location is good.
Disliked: The room was sleezy. Bed looked lumpy. The bedspread was way old and dirty. The bathroom was very small. Toilet, sink, and tub were in 5 ft x 5 ft. room, if that. The side of the toilet was three inches from the wall. Could not imagine staying there. We booked a room elsewhere and forfeited the room fee.

Looking forward to the updates

Disliked: I pointed out a machine that was malfunctioning and even videoed it not working right. Guy came over and agreed the main screen was not right never offered to give us any money back. Other than that good stay

WE HAD ALOT OF FUN...

Liked: CHECK IN WAS EASY AND THE DOORMAN WAS WONDERFUL IN HELPING WITH OUR BAGS AND GIVING INFO ABOUT DEADWOOD.
Disliked: THE BEDS WERE NOT THAT COMFORTABLE AND THE BEDSPREAD HAD A STAIN ON IT. SHOWER HEAD DID NOT WORK WELL. THE WORST PART WAS THE NOISE IN THE ROOM ABOVE US. WOKE US UP MANY TIMES DURING THE NIGHT.

Liked: I have been staying at the Franklin for 70 years. This a charming, older times hotel in a historic and picturesque town.

Historic charm and convenience

Liked: The location couldn't be better. It's so convenient and nothing beats walking straight downstairs to the best breakfast in Deadwood. And I love the history of these old buildings
Disliked: The rooms are old, but I find it charming.

If you’re going to deadwood...

Liked: I love it history I love its location and they have the best restaurant legends in the Franklin hotel. All of the people are great and kind and it’s just a great place to stay.
Disliked: Nothing
