It was a very quaint...

Liked: It was Historic and very nicely decorated and clean! Was located close to the freeway.
Disliked: The beds made horrible noises when getting in and out of them at night. The floors creaked too! Mattresses in full size beds were not that comfortable.

Our stay was very relaxing...

Liked: Very charming historical hotel. Very friendly staff. Exceptional service. Rooms and common areas were super clean. Food from the restaurant was very good.

Love Old Maintained Hotels

Liked: Love older hotels and have stayed at Seelbach & The Brown. Rooms are always roomier. Parking convenient and cute shops within short walk. Had dinner before concert which was excellent! Bed was very comfortable.
Disliked: Actually, not much we didn’t like. The sheets could’ve been nicer. Polyester doesn’t wash well long-term, and they looked gray and old. Missed having vanity in bath and mirror in room inconvenient for use,

Nice place, but front desk...

Liked: Beautiful place, great atmosphere - "stately" hotel. Conveniently located to restaurants, Berea college and hiking the Pinnacles!
Disliked: The desk manager was a bit bitter about me using booking.com, she said you should never use 3rd party platforms to book a room. They messed up charges to my credit card, had to refund and recharge a couple times to get it sorted.
