Perfect location for our overnight stay to attend a concert at the Barbican. It was a 10 minute walk.
Liked: Good hotel. Very clean room with comfortable beds. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Excellent buffet breakfast included within the price.
Disliked: Having to pay for car parking per night. It should be free if you are a hotel guest.

Never been treated so rudely...

Disliked: The manager of the hotel was absolutely so aggressive very rudeUpon leaving the hotel, I asked for my car she told me that she couldn’t get it because it was against hotel policy to park the car outside It was at the back of the car park and my wife was coming down from the room When I said I wanted to leave now, she said you haven’t checked out yet. We will not get your car until your wife comes down. Waiting for the car to come just absolutely very rude there’s no excuse for it unprofessional it was also an incident in the lobby and the manager was running being rude to other guestsWe received a note under our door saying that if we did not supervise our children, they would be put out of the hotel Our children were fully supervised and we’re not left in the hotel attended at any point many of the guests in the hotel received the same letter I’m sure it’s very difficult to run a hotel, especially on New Year’s and I’m sure there was some issues as there were a lot of kids in the hotel and I do sympathise with the staff who are fantasticBut the manager I think needs to step back and reassess their position. I don’t think that she has the professionalism for the job. The attitude was terrible. She was actually quite angry and rude and when I confronted her about this she told me not to raise my voice because I challenged her on her authority . Be very interested to have some feedback from this lady in particular as I’m sure she will swing it under the carpet as she tried to just silence anyone who said anything that she didn’t agree with the rest of the staff of fantastic.

Disappointed and frustrated at the...
Liked: Location
Disliked: Lack of accountability and actual management. No control of the amount of guests they had allowed into the property . Facilities were poorly maintained and faulty . We had a bathroom that leaked the entire time . The facilities were also poorly thought about when designing the room . No plugs near the beds . Bad lighting around the mirror and dressing table … tv positioned to the side of the bed so watching ment you had to lay at an odd angle.

Prime location
Liked: Excellent hot breakfast .. attentive staff
Disliked: Unable to get drinks in the bar New Years Eve due to private party and was previously told there were no events for this night . This was one reason we did book this hotel so was disappointed how rowdy the hotel was. Staff said they were unaware of this booking.

Disappointing deluxe Room
Liked: Great location . Lovely breakfast
Disliked: Our 3rd stay in a deluxe room with a view. Our room 125 had a tree obscuring.our view of Clifford's Tower. Our view was of the carpark opposite ..very disappointed with what we had paid for the room. The room had only 1 comfortable chair ..I had to sit on the bed as my husband got there first. We used the valet service but had to wait over 30 minutes for our car to be brought up . Eventually, the lady behind reception went for it after we complained.
