Great hotel with leisure facilities...

Liked: Great hotel and facilities from Health club to golf course. This is a spacious hotel with comfortable rooms and beds to match. The welcome at reception is great with the additional personal touch of a warm cookie. Food of both evening meal and breakfast are good
Disliked: Nothing

Very good

Liked: The grounds around it are very scenic
Disliked: The floor we stayed on was dated and dim and there was a funny smell in the halls

Liked: enjoyed entering the building into a fabulous reception area, the staff greeted with a smile and very pleasant ensured everything was done with an ease. nothing was no problem and to benefit receiving warm cookies was a great touch to a lovely stay
Disliked: to be honest they where having renovation works completed. but there was no work noise just the facilities were not available but i know that is to make the hotel a better experience for future guest

If you need to get...

Liked: We had dinner that evening which was good. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Disliked: The bar was cashless and for whatever reason a tip couldn't be added to the bill.

Good people bad processes

Liked: The staff generally speaking are very professional and enthusiastic.
Disliked: They do not want to provide an invoice if you book through Booking.com. This needs to be sorted out. Other Hilton Hotels ( Dartford crossing) was the same. I felt uncomfortable asking for a copy of my invoice. The staff have obviously been told that is Company Policy to NOT provide a VAT invoice. Absolutely ridiculous as a lot of guests will be Business visitors who need an invoice to claim their expenses.

Would definitely stay again.

Liked: Beautiful Hotel. The staff were lovely. Rooms were gorgeous (especially the large comfy bed and huge plush pillows) Beautiful modern bathroom. Really great value for money.
Disliked: Noisy renovation work in the morning….. but we were made aware of the renovation work at time of booking so I’m I’m not complaining
