Disliked: Very loud in rooms beside ours at 3am (partying etc)

We were staying one night...

Liked: The property was in a good location and had a good swimming pool and lobby relax and chill area. The front desk staff were very helpful and in particular the lady on the front desk on night shift of the 30th. She got a little pack of things set up for our son for his birthday the following morning at our request. Many thanks.
Disliked: The male changing area was very small and not enough lockers. Understood this was due to refurbishment but the facilities meant leaving personal belongings out for anyone to have access. Female changing was better but my wife said the locks did not work for her. We had stayed here when it was just named as the Hilton temple Patrick. Back then the breakfast had a very wide range of things to have and it was all laid out for patrons to see in better surroundings. The breakfast options were limited and the area for breakfast felt cramped and rushed. One of the features we loved and which brought us back so much to this place was the very wide ranging breakfast which sadly is no longer a feature. In the past we had experienced a better stay here than it gives at present and for better pricing although this is the same for all hotels - prices have increased by easily 150% but no increase in the gains for the client.

Disliked: On the surface the refurb looks great but unfortunately the cleanliness let it down a lot the reception bar area was filthy! The spa is overpriced, the room was cold and therapist seemed very inexperienced, I could not understand what she was saying to me, when I stressed my allergy her response was “no I think this ok” not very convincing! a mediocre quality treatment that cost me £90! It felt strange for a gym PT to welcome me to a spa and show me to the changing facilities it would be more in line with the price to have a proper reception for the spa.

Liked: Location was perfect as we were visiting for a funeral in Templepatrick. The breakfast selection was just fine and our dietary requirements were well met.
Disliked: I can’t think of anything that we required that wasn’t provided.

Liked: The hotel and facilities were perfect and made for a really comfortable stay.
Disliked: We had a room with an adjoining door between us and the one next which we did not expect. The guest in the next room coughed all night and disturbed our sleep. I understand it was Boxing Night however too many small kids in the bar area and one of the bar staff had no idea about who was next to be served.
