HORRIBLE RESTAURANT SERVICE

Liked: The beautiful location, staff and a great room with view.
Disliked: Sandcastle restaurant. I am a prior owner of a ski lodge where a number of Hollywood movies were filmed. A very successful business. Wait time to get seated, place food order and get our check is totally unacceptable. To get our check on the second night we waited over 15 minutes, I got pissed off along with only 5 tables of other customers I got up and hunted down the staff, found them in the kitchen standing together having non related business conversation and laughing. ALL the customers gave me a round of applause when the staff got off their asses. They restaurant was not busy the 2 nights we ate there. One server could of easily handled 5 tables and be the host. The quality of the food does not match the price. Other than the restaurant we had a wonderful stay and we look forward to our next visit.

Liked: Staff was friendly and helpful. Valet was a great service. We loved having an extra sink/vanity outside the bathroom!
Disliked: The room was always dark, especially as you walk in since there is no lighting in the main area except beside the bed. Also, the control in the shower (Room 456) was either hot or cold. It was hard to adjust. Probably needs to be replaced.
