Disliked: Food was pricey for what it was. We wouldn't eat evening meal there if we went again.

Better than expected, a lovely...

Liked: We arrived at 6pm on a Saturday, despite a wedding being held, the staff were extremely happy and polite! The bar was busy but we enjoyed a lovely burger. The pool area was clean. Breakfast was hot, tasty and plentiful.

Okay but nothing special

Liked: The staff were very pleasant. The pictures around the hotel were very pleasant. Breakfast was very good and the breakfast staff excellent. The view from our balcony was beautiful and when contacted the staff had arranged a good view for us. The gym looked good but we didn't use it on this occasion . The pool was pleasant and warm. The gym staff were helpful
Disliked: The food in the restaurant and bar was very average. It's presentation was excellent and service quick but choice seemed limited. It was like an average pub and for the price we expected something more like gastro pub fair. The menu itself was a tatty piece of cardboard which didn't give a good impression. We felt we were sitting in a dimly lit corridor rather than a rather expensive hotel restaurant. Generally disappointing. Our room was clean but had an odd musty smell when we entered . The bedroom socket was odd seemed to be linked to one of the lights. The noisy bathroom fan never went off. And boy was it a long way from our room to the reception, restaurant and bar.

Great place to getaway from...

Liked: Excellent get away to relax.Pool lovely. Really good breakfast and dinner was delightful.

Very disappointed

Liked: The hotel was very clean
Disliked: The room windows whistled when the wind blew and the room was too hot even after turning the radiators off it was very uncomfortable. We had a mobility room even though neither of us use a wheelchair! £18 for a double malibu that's without a mixer! Staff weren't very friendly the spa treatment was awful really didn't enjoy my stay at all!
