Disappointing and Overpriced

Disliked: Very disappointing experience at Hilton Opera Paris. Charging €70 per night for a 2.5-year-old baby is simply outrageous specially that Booking mentioned it’s at no extra charge. The room, supposedly a junior suite, was nothing of the sort: no view, just frosted windows, making it feel claustrophobic. The breakfast was barely worthy of a 1-star hotel. The room service food was bland. Some staff members were professional and helpful, but most were unfriendly and indifferent. To make things worse, a fire alarm simulation on Friday terrified our kids. We were told that it happens every week, and the staff seemed so used to it that they forgot how traumatizing it can be for guests and children. Absolutely unacceptable.~€800 per night for this experience? Avoid at all costs!

Great location, room average.

Liked: The foyer was beautiful, the staff were really helpful- especially the concierge, who gave us useful advice.
Disliked: The very slow check in, also the time of check in is 4pm, we were told this would be earlier but it wasn’t, but they would give us a room if we paid another £100 for 2 hours! Also the bed was rock hard.

Disliked: Room was very small. It was like a warehouse turned to a room to make more money. Quality is not like any other Hiltons
