Unhelpful staff; tried charging £24 more than quote; first room full of dust, cobwebs and cigarette butts outside window. View was of a rundown building and not the partial street view quoted. My friend is severely asthmatic! Second room had one flannel for two people, no hand soap, no bible, desk lamp didn't work. The cost of breakfast is a rip off for £19 as food was very poor! Of all the hotels I've stayed in over the last 35 years, this is the worst!

Liked: Location was great as we were attending a function at the Theatre Royal. Really nice modern room. The pool, sauna and steam room were great. Breakfast was really nice, great coffee too.

Disliked: Rook on the small size. No wardrobe space. Corridor loud at night with doors banging and people walking past.
