Disliked: No noise canceling walls in this high brand hotel, I was in room number 225 and heard all sounds from rooms around me.

Liked: I always stay in this hotel for the location, it’s located in a beautiful and convenient area. Near public transportation and beautiful hotel.
Disliked: What I didn’t like this time is I felt discriminated, I’m very aware for the check in time but sometimes when it’s available, you can get a little earlier. I arrived earlier and the concierge told me if there is availability he will give me my room. I waited almost an hour and then 3 different guests arrived after me and they got their rooms.I asked the concierge again and he told me it was because my rate, so Aimee’s to wait until 3oclock. I didn’t like it at all, it is not like I didn’t pay a full rate so I don’t know what he meant. And also if he would tell me from the beginning if would left my suitcases and left for lunch or something. I considered very unpolite and harsh.

Liked: The location is great both for walks into Hyde Park and beyond and for a wide variety of cafes/restaurants and shops. It is very close to two tube stations - Queensway on the Central line so easy for Easy/West routes - Bayswater for the circle line so access towards the river, parliament etcLights and plugs and space around the bedheads made it easy for use
Disliked: The bed made a lot of noise when you moved and the "duvet" was a sort of duvet smaller than the tube of sheet that it was in, so not easy and comfortable. I can see it is easier for laundry to wash sheets for each changeover and the inner duvet a bit less often, but that with the bed's noise meant it wasn't greatNot enough glasses for water etc. No pegs so when you come in there is nowhere to hang your wet jackets etc and the wardrobe was tight so the room gets cluttered once you come in. (Like most hotels) The bin for tea bags and other stuff was small and the ever present plastic bags just collapse and not enough room. (Like most hotels)The room was fine and looked fine BUT it didn't feel as if the designers had ever stayed in it long enough to think through what would be good to haves.
