Hilton Garden Inn Wichita Downtown Ks, Wichita

Only thing I didn’t like was getting charged $10 for parking (I’m assuming that’s what it was for?) when it was made to sound like it would be taken care of but what can ya do. Nice room. Very clean. Staff was friendly! I liked how close things were to walk to.

Nice and easy stay.

Liked: Clean and nice lounge area. Room was clean and updated. Our room had no window on the 5 th floor. It had a painted window where usually a window would be in a usual hotel room. Kind of weird. No way of seeing outside and glad we had our alarm set. May have never woke up. Would have loved a lower price for an interior room. Location was great and easy for us to see a concert!

Excellent stay and we will...

Liked: The ease of getting to the hotel from I35, the check-in staff were friendly and efficient, the room was large, the bed was exceptional, the sheets and pillows were awesome. The location was excellent. Next to excellent restaurants and the arena.
Disliked: The price for a continental breakfast was too high.

Disliked: I was stuck in an elevator on the morning of my departure; very pleasant. Missed prepaid breakfast and almost missed shuttle to the airport.

Liked: Close to arena. Bed was comfortable.
Disliked: Parking is a joke. There’s like maybe 8 spots behind the hotel and between a parking garage that you can’t access unless you go out and around the block. I was forced to park in the parking garage and then found out after I had parked in the garage that the hotel doesn’t pay the parking ($10/day). This is completely unacceptable due to the location and horrible parking situation! The hotel should be including the parking due to their failure to have adequate parking available at the hotel. I will give credit to the guy at the front desk when I checked out Sunday morning. He understood that the group that I was in wasn’t happy about the pool being closed also and gave me the appropriate discount and validated my parking ticket.
