Not worth $160 a night.

Liked: It was in a better part of town a the staff were friendly.
Disliked: It was dirty and our room smelled old and musty. The bed was uncomfortable and the air conditioning was so deafeningly noisy. The shower in the room above was so loud and sounded like you were in a waterfall. The icing on the cake was the hotel was full of school kids who were shouting ant running up and down the corridor until past 1am.

Great place to stay for...

Liked: Nice location, good places to grab something to eat, conveniently located next to the Cadence Bank Area.
Disliked: Parking can be a little tight and with an event going on at the Arena next door. I wish there was better enforcement of parking on the property.

More like a Motel than...

Liked: It was clean and close to everything we wanted to do and see. Great for a quick stopover.
Disliked: It’s not the standard of the UK Hilton hotels, and the food offered is of a lower quality than expected at a Hilton.

Liked: The breakfast was fine.
Disliked: We were traveling with a well-behaved dog. Our room smelled like urine the moment we walked in. It was awful. . ( I believe we were in room 145). I had to pay a 50$ non refundable pet fee to be in a room that had an overpowering urine smell. We were exhausted from a day of moving. We had previously stayed at that same Garden Inn which was a good experience in September, which is why we stayed there again, this time with a pet. Not sure what the 50$ non refundable fee is for. Obviously not using it to clean room carpets. Also, on another subject, the stench of marijuana was pretty significant in the hallway. Between the stench of urine in the room and “pot” stench in the hallway, terribly disappointing, and to pay 175$+ , no thank you, will be staying across the street at Tupelo Hotel next time. :(

Great place to stay with...

Liked: The staff did a great job of welcoming us and our pup. The onsite bar and food offerings looked good, but we took advantage different offerings nearby. Pro tip for breakfast - there are great locally made breakfast offerings at the Marathon station down the street. This isn't to take away from the hotel, but more so an indication of the nearby offerings. :)
Disliked: We had hoped to get on the ground floor and had communicated the same in advance. But, alas, this did not work out.

Liked: Very close to the venue, very friendly staff!
Disliked: Room condition , TV issues, smell of water damage, door handles falling off, extremely hot in the entire hotel but room temperature was good.
